The intensity, and the unexpected surprises, continue. The full moon, at 24 degrees of Taurus is closely conjunct Uranus at 25 degrees. Uranus is the planet of chaos, breakthroughs and technology. It’s influence can be jarring and unsentimental. It can propel us forwards in dramatic ways because once the “cat is out of the bag”, it cannot be put back in. Knowing and clarity can seize us and push us forward towards the future.
Even if we are resistant. Taurus is a fixed earth sign, after all. It is the least willing to bend, yield and change- especially when pressure is applied from the outside. That is why the past 6 years of Uranus transiting through Taurus has been so significant- because it has irrevocably “unearthed” so much. And this full moon reinforces and highlights what that may have meant for us personally, as well as collectively. The moon is associated with our emotions and inner landscape. And there may be a magnifying glass on shakeups in our inner world now. This is not for the purposes of “destabilizing” us. But rather to help us see the highest path forward, unencumbered by emotional drama, wounds and stories from the past we may finally be ready to shed. Taurus has to do with value and self-worth. To know ourselves as worthy and capable of a brighter future is part of this story.
Venus is the ruler of Taurus, and at 4 degrees of Capricorn, has an eye on the long term. This is a rather sober and pragmatic position for Venus, who normally relishes luxury and beauty. But we are not to be fooled by cheap thrills now. The ultimate integrity and value of the people, relationships, and things in our lives is being shown to us and we are wise to take note and not be swayed by “rose colored glasses” or tossed around by too many confusing and conflicting ideas and opinions. Because those will be abounding.
A mutable T square between Mercury in Sagittarius, Jupiter in Gemini and Saturn in Pisces can feel like a maelstrom of “information and disinformation”. The media (Mercury) is best taken with a grain of salt now. And especially given the tense political atmosphere in the United States, we can expect all kinds of opposing authorities (Saturn) to be trying to sway our beliefs (Jupiter).
There is a grand trine between the sun in late Scorpio, Neptune in late Pisces, and Mars in early Leo. The positions of the sun and Neptune indicate high psychic sensitivity, so ideally we can trust our intuitive “hits” about what is happening around us, and take action accordingly (Mars). Neptune is also closely sextile to the full moon, so it is our inherent psychic, intuitive *knowing* that is our greatest ally here. Not necessarily all of the “information” that is being fed to us via the complicated Saturn/Jupiter/Mercury aspects.
Much has been made, justifiably, about the end of Pluto’s 16 year transit through Capricorn which completes on November 19th. That makes this full moon the very final lunation with Pluto in Capricorn in our lifetime. *Old baggage* is asking to be seen and cleared. Uranus conjunct the full moon can wipe away the debris with ease, if we are willing and open to it. Sometimes seeing out of a “clear windscreen” can feel jarring and overwhelming, especially if we have grown comfortable with the view through the grime. But that is what Uranus conjunct the full moon wants to assist us with now. If we are truly ready to “up-level” then this is a potent opportunity.
Undoubtedly there will be no shortage of Uranian drama, surprises, and even shocks during the coming weeks. What we had counted on as steady and stable (Taurus) may no longer feel so steady and stable after all. Relational and financial matters, the realm of Taurus, could see shakeups. We are wise to take a note from Venus in Capricorn and play the long game rather than getting too swept up in the ever-evolving minutiae of whatever is swirling around us. And as a new 20 year chapter of Pluto in Aquarius fully emerges, we can capitalize on the opportunity to fully leave old stories and power struggles in the past and say yes to a brighter, albeit potentially unfamiliar, personal landscape.
